Television has become an extension of our daily live. Along came the Beta videocassette manchine and we could watch movies on tape. VHS cassettes were not far behind. Next was the laser disc with movies recorded on discs similar to long-playing records. Then, along came the DVD with stereo sound and the advent of the home theater. Once we had to go to the movies to hear quality sound and to get the effect of everything that was happening on the screen. Now, we can set up a home theater with the same surround sound and quality of a movie theater. We can enjoy the movies and the TV shows we love again and again.
